The birds have a way of letting you know if the feeders are getting low, or empty.
Here our flock, sits patiently waiting for the fill-up.
I love that even the biggest, burliest of men love to make sure the birds get fed in the winter.
Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings,
and not one of them is forgotten before God?
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
(Luke 12:6-7 KJV)

The cardinal is a lovely bright spot on a winters' day and you are so right about the birds letting us know it is time to re-fill the feeder, especially on frosty and frozen days.
Joni,
I have heard that verse repeatedly the last few days. I'd better stop and meditate on it awhile.
Thank you. Beautiful pictures.
Have a blessed day!
