This is yours truly at about the age of two....
And in kindergarten...with my favorite dress I remember having as an elementary student. It was in fall colors and I loved the scalloped collar and the cute little flower on the front. My mom made most all of our clothes and I'm sure she made this one, too! After me came three more little girls, so I'm sure this dress got worn right out at some point!
Being the fifth of nine children, there aren't a lot of pictures to go around for the ones that came after number three or four. So....what pictures I do have, I treasure. I have almost all of my school portraits.
It's a rare warm-ish November day in Michigan, so after my walk this morning, I do believe I will forsake regular household chores for washing windows or cleaning the garage...
T'was a busy weekend: had my son a birthday party on Friday night and then Saturday I went north to my Aunt's memorial service, then Sunday we had church and went outside to get a few things done, in the afternoon, we ran my son to a basketball tournament.
