SCENIC SUNDAYS: A Quiet Day

Sundays are a special day.  And I'm glad.

Quiet mornings...coffee, a little toast, maybe a news show, maybe not.  Then it's time to get ready for church, and then home.  The hymns and sermon on a Sunday do my heart good.

After dinner, if a nap feels like the thing to do, there is nothing to stop you.

And rest somehow seems most appropriate, on this, the first day of the week:  The Lord's Day.

How do you like to spend your Sundays?

Funny, but I posted something similar yesterday. Here on the farm we have work to do on Sunday mornings, then church, and back home for lunch and Popa takes a nap in the recliner. I like to spend a little time in the sewing room; hopefully I won't have to remove every stitch by hand on judgment day ;)

Love you linens on the table!
