Oh, Glory!

We had some exceptional weather this weekend: sunny and bright. Relatively warm: high thirties. Since Saturday was time to wash bedding....

The conditions were right.

I decided to hang that bedding out, a sure sign of an approaching spring.

(Just look at that SUNshine!)

Snowstorm today, but for a few days anyway we could imagine spring lurking around the next corner, and we all enjoyed it while it lasted.

I hung out three loads of sheets and a few quilts after they'd had about twenty minutes in the dryer, and it was pure heaven sinking into those sheets that night.

Something so simple as those white sheets gently waving against the winter blue sky with the snow for a backdrop and the sun as the lighting made me want to take my camera out and get a shot...

It's just too bad you can't smell them, too.
Next time you get a chance, sleep on sheets that have been kissed by the oh-so-crisp winter breeze...

it will surely make you feel very rich,
in all the right ways.

Tell me, do YOU like to hang laundry on the clothesline?

I can so smell those sheets! Enjoy it while you can : ) It would take a snow plow to find my clothes line right now. LOL

Nothing like that smell! You would lose them in all the WHITE SNOW that made it's return last night! Kids got another snow day so they are happy! Thanks for capturing our brief reprieve and smart of you to make the most of it. Ten degrees warmer and I would have painted the bathroom!!

What a fresh way to get rid of cabin fever! I can't wait until this Spring to install a nice clothesline in my back yard. Mmmmm, the thought of sweet smelling linens and saving $$!! But, there are times in the Spring when I wouldn't be able to hang laundry on the line because of all the pollen. Still, it would be worth it when possible.
