June Bug's Journal: D-Day....

Hi, it's me! June Bug again. (Remember me?) Oh dear. I know you all haven't heard from me in a while, and I'm all grown up now....you ought to see how big I've gotten. Well, since I'm OLD ENOUGH now, mom took me into Dr. Brown's today so that my baby factory can be removed. MeOW with an emphasis on OW!

There is a consolation prize, you know, she went and bought me a new bed....it's round, like a donut and soft like a feather bed, I can curl up and snuggle right in when I'm in my little kitty house (which actually is a mini doghouse!).

She thinks that will help me to recover faster and stay warm since I'll be staying in the garage while I recover. MEOW. (I am an outside kitty, you know.) There's also a good stock of kitty treats, I've noticed. So, it ain't all bad!

I am counting my blessings, though, just SO GLAD I don't have to have my claws removed, I've heard how THAT goes...and it ain't pretty (Buddy the house kitty/fluffball told me so).

This is June Bug signing off...and I'll be in touch, as soon as I recover I'll be back to blogging again as usual, so don't worry.

She is so sweet!! We just adopted a cat last week. She is already assimilated and lovin on the kids. We have to take her next week to get her fixed. She is an indoor kitty and we don't plan on getting her declawed. She hasn't tried to claw anything but her cardboard scratcher. She is 7 months old. I can't wait to hear more about June Bug!! ;0)

Thanks for visiting my blog! I enjoy yours, especially the political stuff, your house and new kitchen!
The cute cherry fabric was from Daisy kingdom Amy's "Cherry A1 lover" #9239 Springs Global US. I bought it at WalMart for $4 a meter less than our ONLY local fabric store and they tell me fabric is going out at our WalMarts! I live in Canada. We have a great store with wonderful fabric in Maine, but that is about 3 HOURS AWAY! When I get there, I am so overwhelmed that I don't know what to buy. Anyway I was glad to find the cute cherry fabric. Don't tell anyone, but I plan to make my little grand-daughter a small Raggedy Ann doll for Christmas with the same dress!

Oh, I forgot to say (even after all that), that I am an AMERICAN living in Canada.
