Showin' & Tellin'.... Thrift Store Garden Gnomes!

I picked up this adorable handmade plaque made from a wooden plank two days ago at the thrift store for $1.00. The gnome couple is actually carved in relief from the wood, and painted so well, and I could not help but bring them home with me. I can't imagine the time that went into this!

I put them on eBay, hoping that someone who absolutely loves and collects gnomes will be thrilled at such a unique find like this; but I'm almost hoping that it won't sell. I don't know why, but these two are just way too endearing.

What would you do with this plaque? I need a backup plan for this couple in case they don't find a new home.

I would put a protective coat of something clear and then hang it on a fence or a tree near a place that looks like a pixie forest and then I would add more gnomes.

Hey, great idea Roberta Anne! But, since PFARMGIRL has a son with a "gnome" themed room, I think it should go live at her house...if it doesn't sell on eBay. And, wouldn't it be great if we could see the gnome room? There's a subject for a post for you, Parisienne!
