"Easter says you can put Truth in a grave,
but It won't stay there.".
--Clarence Hall
Just As I Am
Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou biddest me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come! I come!
Just as I am, and waiting not,
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, though tossed about,
With many conflict, many a doubt,
Fighting fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
Yea, all I need in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
Just as I am, Thou wilit receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve,
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Joni,
Beautiful picture. Wonderful hymn. Whenever I heard that hymn for an altar call growing up, or even today if I heard it, I'd be right up front!
Hope you have a blessed and glorious Easter!
Wow, I don't think I have ever read the third verse of 'Just As I Am'--what powerful and meaningful words! Thanks for sharing it on your blog and I hope your Easter was a blessed one!
Blessings,
Aimee
