I'm taking today off of the gardening series...
But I can't leave you picture-less...
Thought you might like these awesome straight out of the camera shots I got one morning recently.
The sun was so bright it was literally setting things afire with its light! Every new set of shadow shots are my newest favorites...I wonder how long it will take to get this out of my system?
:0)
Actually....I don't mind if I don't!
My youngest son is going in this noon hour to have four wisdom teeth surgically removed so...mama's going to be stickin' close to her baby. We all know it's never fun to have that surgery, no fun to wake up from anesthesia...so prayers are appreciated if you think of Luke today!
Take time today to notice the beautiful parts of the magical ordinary-ness all around you...
I will meet you here hopefully on Friday again to talk of gardens, okay?

Beautifl shadow shots and Happy thoughts to your son!
I will be praying for Luke. The shadow shots are beautiful. I noticed the fabric and thread. What are you sewing? I love to sew and quilt. Just curious. Looking forward to more gardening adventures.
Sighhh...beautiful. Makes me want to take the day off and do nothing.
Joni, you captured the sunshine perfectly!!! What a glorious morning!
Hugs to your baby boy.....tis no fun having those 3rd molars removed! I know, I worked for an oral surgeon for years!!!

PS: Avoid using a straw and NO vigourous rinsing.
tucking Luke into prayer; you as well as the caregiver. gardening posts are always a welcome read, I've been planning our gardens and enjoying myself thoroughly. our frost date is 15 May so we've a ways to go yet.
I hope that Luke is recovering from his surgery! I know that you will nurse him and take good care of him!
