Vintage Inspiration Fridays

Today's feature for Vintage Inspiration Fridays...

Vintage Christmas Music...as in RECORDS.

I have several and it's fun to look for vintage Christmas records at garage sales in the spring and summers.

I found this beautiful Bing Crosby "White Christmas" a couple summers ago, brand new, with the cellophane still intact! I think it was a whole dollar. Oh. My. Thumpity thump, my heart skipped a beat!

Well, I had to open it and USE it, didn't I?

Of course I did, and this year, I incorporated it into my Christmas decorating.

Vintage Christmas music is special and there's nothing like it.

Full orchestras that played real music, beautifully smooth voices that take you back in time to when you were holding your mothers hand and it was time to get in the line to see Santa (Gulp! I did NOT like the big hairy man in a red furry suit, thank you very much, and I was NOT brave about it, I CRIED every time!).

But the music WAS so good then, wasn't it?

Well, thanks to vinyl preserving it, vintage music still is as good as it ever was, especially on the record player!

Have a GREAT WEEKEND and ...

Let it Snow!

Oh my grandparents have boxes and boxes of those old vinyl records... so neat. I bet that Bing record sounds incredible on your player! Thanks for sharing at my party this week!
