I don't recall where I found this tiny little bitty blue bottle...one my favorite colors of blue there is.
It may have come from under one of the old barns we've torn down on this place, I don't know--I've had it seems like forever!
But what I do know is that it's the perfect size for tiny spring blooms: violets, grape hyacinths, and of course, Lilly of the Valley...
And the nice thing about it is that it fits on my narrow windowsill--just a couple inches tall.
Sometimes when I look at my spring blossoms, I get so giddy, I want to bring bitty bits of beauty inside with me for a little while, to wonder at.
Do they affect you that way, too?
And this little scene really makes me smile each time I glance up at it, in my kitchen window.
Happy Monday, friends!

Oh yes! I want to bring in a little of everything, holding onto it as long as possible. I posted on my spring bouquet last week; it was also in a blue bottle I found in a trash dump. I think it must be a milk of magnesia bottle. lol I also have the small blue flowers like yours; they spread out into the area around them.
yes, I love spring flowers, and want to bring them inside.
I love your blue vase! I have one tiny vase that I love, and it really isn't a vase. It is a little syrup bottle from a restaurant.
I think I should go outside and cut some Grape Hyacinths to put in it.

It's funny what a little cobalt blue in the sunshine will do to lift our spirits and the flowers are perfect for the bottle. Gorgeous!
