What is so fair as a day in June?
Not much.
So much is fair about June.
Shall I list the ways?
Lawns, lush and green,
newly-born leaves,
blooms on trees,
straight rows of garden plants,
lined up in rows in dark moist dirt
wet from a summer's rain...
Lilacs, Lily of the Valley, Peonies: so fragrant and fresh.
School's almost over!
Strawberries...oh....YES. Strawberries!
Another reason to love the fair month of June.
A bowl, fresh, all on their own. Or.
Desserts and treats of all sorts, perhaps one of my favorite salads of all time...
Simple, sweet, summer: strawberries.
