Accomplished: Burp Cloths

Got into the sewing room last week, and finished up some burp cloths I had cut out a while back.

It feels good to have another stack, ready and waiting.

And it's a good thing I got them done, because I already gave this set away, to a friend who just had a new grandson on Easter eve!  The ducks were my favorite in this batch.

It's always fun to pick and match patterns, and flannel is so easy to work with.

These will be gone before I know it, and I will be making yet another stack.

If you want to learn how to make these handy baby gifts, just go here for a tutorial.

I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

I need to make some myself. I have had plans to do so for some time. Seeing your stack of cutely coordinated cloths is inspiring!

Burp cloths bring back memories for me. My 3 year old Darbee Rae (granddaughter) had reflux really bad and we went thru burp cloths. She became attatched to them and long after the bottle and pappies was gone she dragged a burp cloth and called it her lovie. You could NOT fool her with anything else. Her Mommie kept a few and she plays with them now with her babies (dolls). She is so cute with them. Love yours. Such sweet colors. Some Mommie to be will be so proud to recieve those.

That stack of burp cloths looks so nice. I love fabric! For some reason the sewing bug bit me this week, too. I made two skirts and will finish some napkins today and start another skirt (all 3 for the girls). I bought some stuff to make cute bibs, but never did them , so perhaps I'll get to it later as well. Thanks for some inspiration!
