Spring? Well...Not Quite!

The top of our old china cabinet...

I was waiting for spring to roll out the spring blog banner, but spring is being a meanie to us in Michigan and I'm rolling out the banner, even though there is still snow on the ground!

The porch railing after our snow/ice storm.

Except for a few teaser days, we haven't seen spring here, yet!

And I'm really kind of fed up with winter, all the while knowing even April isn't off limits for her icy fingers....

The garden fence

I'm trying to be patient, but it seems like winter has lasted six months already!

The old abandoned orchard that's across the field from our house...

The sun seems warmer lately, and we're seeing a slow melt-off of the crusty, icy snow we got last week.

Do you see how deep that old fencepost is buried?!

A little retail therapy should help...

The other day when I was walking my five miles at the mall,
I noticed that

Bath & Body Works has a

"Country Chic"

with a" Farm Fresh"

theme this spring,
Display windows filled with

colorful gingham

and

FARM FRESH

scents in their candles and hand soaps...

Blueberry, strawberry, and cherry!
Peach, lemon, oh, yum!

What's not to love!?

Oh, yes, I think I have to have some fresh & fruity scents at each sink this spring and summer...
watermelon,
apples,
strawberry,
blueberry!

Yes...get thee to the Bath & Body Works "Farm Market" and bring home somethin' fresh, there's a sale going on, in the stores, and online.

(Bath & Body Works doesn't know me, I just like to pass a chance on a bargain to my farmhouse friends...and I only buy their products when they're on sale like this!)

I have two coupons from Bath and Body Works sitting right here in front of me. I always like their hand soaps to set at the kitchen and bathroom sink. Thanks for the heads up--the country scents look like something I need! And thanks for going ahead and adding the spring blog banner--I'll take all the warmth I can get!

I've been eyeing those too, the little holders are darling too. I was itching to get a few but was waiting for the sale!

Awww. I sure do like the gingham, farm fresh, fruity look... B&BW could give "Country Living" Magazine a few pointers on what we country girls like, LOL!

Wow, there's still snow up there?! I don't blame you for wanting to do some retail therapy!
