Friends: Rays of Sunshine

Posies on the table...bring to mind friends.
Bright and sunny friends.
A friend who might think of you when they go to a Goodwill and see something in
Blue and White.
Then they pick it up just because.
Wasn't that sweet?
Isn't this the cutest little pitcher?

Friends are delightful when they're at a garage sale with you and they call you over excitedly because they know you'll love this old linen tablecloth with the beautiful embroidery.

And you do.
And whenever you get out and use this thing of such beauty, you think of that friend.

My little dining room table today made me think of two special friends in this instance.

But, there are all kinds.

Some friends are friends because of circumstances you've gone through together.

Some are friends because you just happened to live near each other.

Some because your kids were the same age.

Some are friends that perhaps you've never met, you only know them through blogging, which is something so unexpected by me when I began blogging a couple years ago. When you think about it, it's just amazing! A whole new world of friends, all made possible by the internet.

Some friends encourage you in your dreams, and because of that, you look up to them. By their example, they lead you to your dream because of the ones they've achieved; and I think that maybe my dream will come true like theirs did -- if I work just as hard.

I am thankful for the blessing of many good friends, and hope to be as good a friend to others.
