Love this post...this weekend isn't all about camping and taking the boat out for the first time; it's about our freedom and all the brave Americans who help us keep it. Thanks for sharing and may God truly bless America!

I'm remembering a cute little guy who played basketball and baseball with my son and football with my son and daughter in high school. His eyes had a twinkle, especially when he was up to some mischief. He was the oldest of 4 boys, a wonderful family. He was killed in Mosul, Iraq on 12/08/2003, just months after he graduated from high school. He was young and full of promise, and he is missed. I'm thankful there are people like him who will bravely fight evil when necessary. There is debate about WMD and whether or not we should have liberated Iraq at all. But Iraqis are experiencing freedom because young men like PFC Jason G. Wright were willing to stand up and face evil and make the ultimate sacrifice!

Hello, what a beautiful post! God Bless America and our troops!
I love your blog, your house is beautiful! That book you wrote about in a previous post "Crafting with Flea Market Fabrics" looks great, I will keep searching for a copy until I find one. Have a great weekend!
Bless you, Shirl
