Three Little Kittens...

Three little kittens....

Had lost their mittens....

And couldn't tell where to find them...

So we dressed them in clothing instead!

My grand niece, McKenzie puts a pink frock on this kitty...

Did you enjoy "dressing up" the kittens when you were little?

That is one precious little golden haired "kitten" you have there! Yes, I always dressed up the kittens I found in my grandpa's barn. Wrapped them in baby blankets just like your little darling has:>)

I dressed my kittens up all the time, wheeled them all over town in the old wicker doll buggy ... they seemed to enjoy (or were terrified) the fussing over them.

Here are (2) pieces you may find quite interesting to view ...

This brings back memories of my own childhood when we used to do the same thing! At one point we have 19 cats... all from one prolific mother kitty! So we had lots of babies to clothe... until my dad insisted we find homes for all of them. Oh how my sister and I shed tears! LOL

'kenzie and kitties. what could be better? i'm going to have to save my daughter's american girl stuff, because even if my grand daughters don't like to play with dolls, they might like to play dress up with kitties!
