More roadside shooting...
This one shot through the windshield, it changes the color of the sky just a little but turns out to be neat anyway.
In this one, I'm liking the stop sign aligned with the setting sun...a ball of fire. And there, behind the old silo...I see something rather strange. What is it? I drive a little farther to look, I head north where it's in range to shoot. (All this on the way to the basketball game, I wasn't late!)

This shot out the open window of my car. On the left, the sun glows and lights up the crusty snow on the farmer's field, and to the right some sort of strange reflection and a vertical kind of a rainbow or prism light taking place, I wish I knew what that reflection was bouncing up from!
A closer look...with the big zoom lens on this time.
And with the zoom as far as I could get it, now I see more clearly what looks like lots of jet trails within the vertical 'prism'....
Sunsets vary so much from season to season and month to month, it's fun trying to catch one each month to show you.

Gorgeous!
Just unreal...so beautiful! Hey, as I click to go visit your blog, the picture it show is not what I find...I feel like I'm a post behind or something!
beautiful. we don't often get to enjoy much of the sunsets since there are so many trees and hills where we are. The flat prairie/farmland provides an unintterupted view.
