SCENIC SUNDAYS: Gettysburg

"So long as the people do not care to exercise their freedom, those who wish to tyrannize will do so; for tyrants are active and ardent, and will devote themselves in the name of any number of gods, religious and otherwise, to put shackles upon sleeping men."

— Voltaire

WELL SAID, and oh so true. Standing strong against the encroachment of tyranny... that's our duty, and one we take on gladly.

AMEN! I wish more people would take Voltaire's words to heart.
I am so frustrated at people believing that it will "just go away" if they ignore what is going on.
