Judging a Book by its Cover....GUILTY!

They say never to judge a book by its cover...
but "they" can be wrong.
Liked the cover.
Liked the book!

Great for vacation reading...and the cover sold it.
Garage sale: fifty cents.

No, it's not a classic.
But was it fun?
Yup.

Sometimes you don't want to think too hard.
Sometimes reading should be relaxing.
Sometimes reading HAS to be easy.
And the cover looking like someplace I'd like to stop and eat doesn't hurt a bit!

Summer reading: light and easy, fun and friendly....
XOXO

You lucked out, huh? For 50 cents, it was sure worth the gamble and it paid off!

That sounds like something I would enjoy! I'll look for it!

Found this book on Amazon for 1 cent...! The author has a few other books up at Amazon as well.

I'm finally completing "John Adams" by McCullough and talk about *heavy* reading. I've thoroughly enjoyed it but whew! Something light (like Bitsy's) might be a welcome refreshment until I begin my next *heavy* book: The Johnstown Flood, also by McCullough.
