How about this set of "OLD MAID" cards?
(click to enlarge photo & view easier)
I found them last weekend when I was up north, we had a chance to stop at a few garage sales while I was there with my family.
They are too cute and they would be perfect to use (when color-copied!) as gift tags, the graphics are so awesome!
There are no copyright markings on the box as to what year, I would love to know. Judging from the outfits I'm thinking sixties or seventies, if you know, help me out!

I would say early to mid 60s. This is the set I had as a child. Always tried to get the Movie Star.
I would love to find some! What great memories playing that game! I played in the '50s and '60s!

I'm not sure if you can pull up the EBAY listing below, but I put it on here for you. Old Maid cards just like yours. The seller says they are prob. from the 50's. They are pretty and it looks like you got a deal. I love your blog.

I had this set oo, it must be fromt he 60's. How cool!
VERY cool!!!! I think they would make adorable (color copied) gift tags!!! What a neat idea... I'll have to be on the look out for things like this to use!! NEAT find... I think I played with cards like this at my grandma's when I was young.... I got to play all the 'old' games from the 50's-60's at their house.... memories!!
