SCENIC SUNDAYS: Indianapolis War Museum

May 2006
Indianapolis, IN
Indiana World War Museum
(A wonderful place to visit!)

there is lots to read on the face of the building

Oh, say can you see why I loved this place!?
There was so much architectural beauty here, but the building was very dark inside and my camera didn't cooperate well that day. Huge carved eagles, all kinds of American symbolism, stained glass, a gorgeous building that would be worthy of Washington, D.C., in my opinion. Very awe-inspiring.

AND...HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to my children's Father...
there'll be some good food and family (& fishin'!) time for him!

Joni,
I have lived in Indiana for 55 years and I have never seen this museum! You have inspired me to take Jim and visit it...
