Corners of My Home: CHRISTMAS!

(I think I do need to decorate that cow up there a little bit for Christmas...don't you?)

Christmas is s-l-o-w-l-y coming to our house.

It takes me a while to get cranked up on it, and once I get a good momentum going, it's time to stop what I'm doing and run get my son from school, or back to school to practice, or home from practice, or to a game, etc.  Know what I mean?

Then I have to get cranked up again.

So, Christmas stuff has been sitting around for over a week, and I'm just finishing up!  I didn't even get a fourth of it out.  Something must be done in that attic.  I see a big garage sale in my summer 2012.

How about you?  Have you Christmas-ed your place?

Hope to show you more corners soon.

Enjoy the day!

Here it is dark, like 5 p.m. dark in the morning, with a drizzling rain.  (This is why they invented Christmas lights, people!)

Anywhohow,  the blasted dark dreariness has caused me to not be able to take peeectures of said Christmas decorating.

Pah!  Where's my snOw?!

But don't those big light bulbs look even nicer in the blasted dark drearyness? I found an old pack of those light bulbs at a thrift store and there was (gasp) a periwinkle blue one! Why don't they make that color anymore? It's so pretty on the tree...

LOVE the bulbs in the bowl!! I'm going to have to try and find some!! Also love the bells and reminded me that I have a vintage bell to hang. You pull the string and it plays music. I found it at an estate sale and had to have it because it reminded me of visiting my favorite Aunt and Uncle when I was little:) I know I've told you a million times. But I LOVE your blog. And I want SNOW TOO!!

The bowl o' bulbs is great. The glimpse of your tree through the doorway with the gorgeous wood trim is even better!

Love, the bowl o' Bulbs!

Yes, dark, drizzly, and dreary here as well, and only a 40% chance of a white Christmas according to the weather channel... BAH HUMBUGER!

Haven't gotten into the spirit yet, someone needs to zap me into, something-something (maybe some snow.) Otherwise, I may line my yard with batting! LOL

Well, I have to say, you've lifted my spirits a bit here, and given me some inspiration--thank you very much.
