Levi Jack Is HERE!

PURE JOY!
Our grandson was born on Thursday!

Sweet...sweet...sweet.
That's all a Nana can say!

Here, he's just a minute or two old, quietly looking at his daddy!

Mommy did well delivering little Levi Jack..she had quite a time in labor
and even took the time to tell the man who administered the epidural that she loved him. Heh! How I remember that feeling!

She pushed for almost two hours. WOW. I was secretly holding my breath and pushing with her...not that it did any good, but I tried to help!

Nana was so proud!
Watchin' that mother-love kick in
and watch our daughter just get with it
and do what she had to do
to get that baby here
and born safely.

There's nothing quite like seeing the newborn baby eyes;
feeling their soft skin...
smelling that sweet breath sent
straight from HEAVEN.
Thank you, Lord, for this sweet little miracle!

I know a proud daddy when I see one...
and BOY DO I SEE ONE here!!
