Bought the tins...got 'em clean and dried and stacked....
Pulled out the pots and pans and all the ingredients, measured them out for different batches...weddings can be such messy affairs.
What am I talking about, you ask? You'll see, be patient.

Mmm....dark brown sugar!
Lotsa, lotsa buttah.....real...salted. Must be LOVE!
The Caramel......oooh la la....!
Caramel, meet Popcorn. You two go SO WELL together.
Popcorn tends to move fast.
POP!
pop!
pOp!

The Popcorn...with unpopped kernels removed, warming in the oven, getting ready for marriage.
ALREADY!
(I know...but that's the way with popcorn, it doesn't wait well.)

Here they are when they are all married up....such a short courtship but OH! so much better together than apart.
They shall not let the cashews tear them asunder.
Oh, I forgot to ask.
Is there anyone here who objects to this union?
Speak NOW or forever hold your peace.

Congratulations, Popcorn, to you and Caramel!

Congratulations, Popcorn, to you and Caramel!
Such a beautiful couple.
(Here's my own little photo tags for the top of the tins for this year, the same wreath photo that's in my header. Now they're all ready for a proper send-off.)
Popcorn and Caramel will enjoy a short honeymoon in this tin.
(They will look so radiant when they emerge, I'm sure.)
Well, instead of admiring Popcorn and Caramel and how GOOD they look together, I guess I should shut their little compartment.
Good-bye.
I love you.
I love you BOTH,
VERY much.

THEN, I tape it! Both sides.
WHY?
Got to keep it fresh until Christmas!
(And, possibly, to keep myself out of it.)
Recipe on sidebar.
But.
Be careful,
caramel corn

I love caramel corn, but I've never made it. It's so delicious, I'm not sure why I haven't. I'm hungry now, after seeing those photos!
Blessings,
Marcia
I've made 4 batches of caramel corn so far this season. I keep making it for gifts and my family eats half of each batch. I've made homemade biscotti and fudge, but the caramel popcorn has been making my "giftee's" go nuts so next year I'll probably just make that and give lots.
Love the stuff!
Mmmm...I'll be right over!
Oh no...there are NO objections on my part! I LOVE caramel corn. The more caramel the better. I am going to try my hand at that wonderful popcorn with drizzles of white and dark chocolate. We will sing the praises of popcorn together!
Looks like Mr. and Mrs. C. Corn have a beautiful, quiet getaway for their honeymoon, and those cool tins make a nice honeymoon suite for the happy couple.... a very SWEET couple, indeed!
That looks soooo good! What a great idea for gifts. I bet you snacked on it a little yourself! ;) I would have!
Blessings,
Lori
Where's mine???
Seriously, this looks so good. I think I'll make some very soon!
