I Recommend To You......Frankenmuth in a SNOWSTORM!

Click on any photo to enlarge
Last week while Jamie was here, we drove to Frankenmuth during a snowstorm....It's a great time to go, you will not be sorry!

A little shopping at Bronner's will always help get you into the Christmas mood....

I've always liked taking family pictures in front of the large Christmas decorations there...

The snow was absolutely sparkling and it was a magical night with big flakes flooding our vision!

The street lamps are decorated in a nostalgic fashion, just gorgeous with the snow crusting on the lights and the greenery!

The covered bridge was breathtaking, so of course, we had to park and walk it and enjoy the perfect winter's night....

The scenery is remeniscent of an old-fashioned post card, and lovely soft hills accented the snowfall.

The quiet on the river, with the snow softly falling. I could have lingered a lot longer, but it was a school night for Luke.

A photo on the covered bridge.

Some red berries in their winter blanket of snow...

A postcard scene, one of many.

Enjoying a snowball fight, we were all alone on the bridge, so why not?

Time for a little reflection, the Christmas season is beautiful!

The entrance to the SILENT NIGHT CHAPEL at Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland!

Just as we pulled into The BAVARIAN INN, the Glockenspiel started playing...like I said, it was MAGIC! The magic of the Christmas season!

A gorgeous inn on the east side of the Cass River in Frankenmuth!

Like something out of Germany, isn't it! Well, Frankenmuth is Michigan's LITTLE GERMANY, so if you get a chance this Christmas, make a trip up there and especially if we're getting some snow, there's nothing more magical!

No, actually they look so much better on the screen and blogger puts them up so SMALL that they don't look the same. I am looking into being able to post larger pics, just have to learn how to make them larger in Blogger.
