Crawl In...

Aren't Sunday naps just the best, ever?

Sometimes, after Church, when dinner is cleaned up and put away, I will steal away to the guest room upstairs and turn down the covers and take a quick snooze.

There's nothing quite like it.

A nap, any other day of the week, is somehow, not the same.

what a sweet place to steal away a Sunday kitty-kat nap...

I love that bed! We had a red one just like it, but I eventually sold it. Miss that bed, but it's at a good home for a little boy who really needed it. The old iron beds remind me of the sleeping porches in the south and long, lazy, hot afternoons!

Yes, yes, yes! I have a white bed like that in my guest room. It's the bed I slept in when I spent the night at my grandmother's. I love curling up and taking a nap in it.

Other days of the week aren't the same because we feel guilty taking a nap unless it's Sunday!

Ain't that the truth? Like my friend said, "It's good to have a day that nothing is expected to be done..." (no yard work, no house projects--no 'performing' is expected... you can rest and not feel guilty!)
