Your Favorite Whatchamacallit?

We all have little things hidden around the house that we use every day, that make our lives easier in different ways.

And they can cost a couple bucks and pay for themselves over and over.

Hidden inside this little old jelly jar I got for a quarter at a garage sale, is my little whatchamcallit, or whozzit, or thingamajig, or whatever you want to say.

(What is it you call a gadget?)

This is my little gem: a scrubber that you pour dish detergent under the lid and it dispenses itself for the scrubber brush below, and it's great for wiping down the dishes before putting them into the dishwasher.

ALSO...it's handy for scrubbing the sink every night.   It was maybe three dollars and I love it!

What's your favorite little gadget that you can't live without?

I use old vintage cocktail ashtrays for spoon rests & tea bag holders in the kitchen ... so colorful & useful. This way the family members who used them way back in the 1940s are a part of my daily life.

Have a great eve ~

I have seen those in the dollar section. Think I will pick one up next time I see one. Thanks.

Okay, you can start laughing now!!
The thing that we use the most, and makes the least sense, is a row of corsage pins that I have stuck in window frame of my kitchen window. Everyone in the house uses them for a bazillion different uses, and we all agree they are the handiest "tools" we have ever owned!!

I have thought and thought and cant seem to come up with any little cool gadget I use. I would however be totally lost without my salad spinner, but that isn't exactly the same thing is it?

Hmmm... I'd have to think to answer that question...lol! Sorry I been so quiet these last couple weeks, I’ve been really ill (now finally diagnosed with Whooping Cough even though I was immunized) and have had another very rough week.
