A Redbird Day

The best things are the simple things.

The little surprises you might see on a busy afternoon, if you just take the time to look.

Little treasures are there.

Is there any greater joy in winter than seeing a red cardinal against the snow?

Each season has its own delights.

Some seasons, they're just a little easier to spot than others.

Nothing looks quite so royal as he.

Oh, I love those! Thank you for your sweet comments on my bird pictures. I asked DH why I haven't seen any cardinals at our feeder and he told me that the little perches are too small. Drat! I adore cardinals and how they stand out in the landscape.

What a lovely sight this cold white morning, easily seen amongst it all.
The Cardinal is one of my favorite birds, tho we seldom see them anymore. Thanks for sharing...what I have always thought of as a Christmas bird., he and the chickadee.

I love your blog so much and this post caught my attention because red birds are my favorite. We don't get much snow here in middle Georgia where I live, but had some sleet and freezing rain last week that make it look like a snowy day! I counted 7 red birds in my backyard garden. They hung around most of the day They were so BEAUTIFUL! Have a great day. God bless you!

My last post was a "winter walk around our farm!" Come visit :)

Oh my, what beautiful pictures. Cardinals are close to my heart, so these pictures stopped me in my tracks. The camera shot is so perfect. What a beautiful scene on a cold day!
