Vintage Christmas: Thrifted Aprons!

This is a child's apron...

Making more progress on my efforts to rescue vintage aprons.

These are being rescued and shared....

They will become gifts ...

Tucked in with my gifts of my homemade apple pie filling and apple crisp topping...

They were rescued at a craft show, in a dark corner, stuffed in a basket, all wrinkly and limp.

All it took was a little laundry, a little starch and a good ironing, and they were beautiful once again.

Which one is your favorite??

I love the white one with the white lace but they are all wonderful. And the lady in red is sweet.

I have one like in the first picture, with the cross stitching, but mine has black cross stitching. I love the red/white striped one with the strawberry.
They are all so beautiful!

I love that pink and white calico one! I'm trying really hard not to collect aprons. :) I do have two, though, that hang on a hook in my kitchen. A sweet calico one and one that's sheer white with gingham trim.

you are better then me, I couldn't part with any of them unless there were two! I love the white one and I'm partial to rick-rack as well, cute idea for gifts of food, but it'll have to be a duplicate or close to one I already have or we don't part too well:)

The aprons are gorgeous! I love that you have rescued them and are sharing them. They are so sweet each in their own, my favorite is the white one. I have acquired a couple vintage white aprons recently and I love them.
Merry Christmas

Don't you just love aprons!! I love the one with the blue flowers, so sweet....reminds me of one my grandma used to have. I still wear hers every once in awhile, and inhale deeply as I can still smell the line-dried laundry, lavender, and peppermint. The things that take us back...thank you for the memory. Merry Christmas!

Oh, they are so cute. What a wonderful idea for gifts, the recipients will be thrilled I'm sure. My favorite is the sixth one, red and white check with white rick rack trim. Merry Christmas.

What a great idea for a gift - vintage apron with canned goodies!
I believe (at the moment) the white apron with the eyelet is my favorite.
Merry Christmas, Joni!

What a great collection of aprons! I like all of them but I guess my favorite is the red and white check with rickrack. You're so lucky to find nice things like this. And, those vintage Christmas ornaments are just wonderful!
