Skipping Rocks

One of life's little pleasures...

Skipping rocks.

All you need is a flat rock, and mom to help hunt them for you.

And you need a boy that loves stopping off during a meandering, late summer's journey at the bank of a beautiful turquoise lake,

In this case, it was Lake Leelanau, and the waters were still (perfect!) and sparkly (a bonus)!

.

And a sunbeam shining down on my favorite youngest boy.

Can I freeze this moment and keep it?

Beautiful pictures! I never did get the knack of skipping stones. I guess I'll have to give it another try!
